Thank you to everyone who joined us for Wildlife Celebration on December 7, 2024, sponsored by the Friends of Green Cay Nature Center! This is Green Cay Nature Center’s largest annual event, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the incredible turnout. After a 5-year hiatus due to COVID and renovations, this marks only our second year back—and what a comeback it was! Over 1,630 guests attended this year’s event, a significant increase from 2023’s 1,109 visitors.

A huge thank you to the 43 amazing volunteers and the 52 individuals representing 20 environmental organizations who made this event possible. Your passion and dedication helped create an unforgettable day for our community.

We hope you enjoy these highlights from the celebration! Mark your calendars—we can’t wait to welcome you back next year!
